Overview:

  • Please reach out to Concierge: support@entreinstitute.com, to provide any related screenshots and information regarding the incident and suspected member so we can review the suspect’s account and determine if they have made an attempt to poach within our community.

  • Phishing is when scammers attempt to gain access to your account by sending suspicious messages or links that request your personal information. They may threaten to ban or delete your account if you don't comply. If they succeed, they could use your account to send spam or other nefarious activities.

  • If You Suspect You've Been Phished:

    • If you accidentally entered your username or password on a suspicious link, immediately secure your account by resetting your password and logging out of any devices you don't recognize.

    • If you can't access your account and your login credentials don't work, seek assistance from the Instagram Help Center or the Facebook Help Center.

  • Tips to Avoid Scams and Phishing:

    • Stay Wary of Suspicious Messages: Do not trust messages that demand money, promise gifts, or threaten to delete or ban your account.

    • Avoid Clicking Suspicious Links: If you receive an email or message claiming to be from Meta, refrain from clicking any links or downloading attachments.

    • Do Not Respond to Suspicious Requests: Never provide your password, social security number, or credit card information in response to messages.

    • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Turn on 2FA for an added layer of account security. Search on Google for steps to help you set this up.

    • Stay Informed: Continuously educate yourself about the latest phishing tactics and online scams.

    • Keep Software Updated: Ensure your device's operating system and security software are up to date to protect against potential vulnerabilities.

    • Notice Odd Font Types, Misspelling, and Poor Grammar: These scammers will usually give themselves away by having spelling mistakes and poor grammar. They may use different font types in messages and emails that Facebook does not normally use.

Your online safety is our priority. By following these guidelines and staying vigilant, you can safeguard yourself against phishing scams and enjoy a secure experience.
